Helium's founder, Haleem, has publicly criticized the SEC's lawsuit against the company, calling the allegations baseless. He accused the SEC of wasting two years and millions of dollars pursuing various claims against Helium, including false accusations about the coverage map, cellular radios, and IoT hotspots. The SEC announced legal action against Helium and its developer, Nova Labs, on January 17. Haleem emphasized that the SEC has failed to regulate the crypto industry effectively in the US.
